JP Purity Apparatus: A testing device for determining the clarity and turbidity of liquids in accordance with the Japanese Pharmacopoeia (JP XVIII, e.g. Carmellose Sodium, Purity (1)).
The apparatus consists of a two-part glass assembly with a fixed outer tube and a vertically movable inner tube for determining the visibility limit.
Material: Both components are manufactured from high-quality Clean Save laboratory glass in accordance with DIN ISO 3585 and each features a flat, fused glass plate.
The coordinated tube dimensions (outer tube approx. 250 mm high, Ø 30 mm; inner tube approx. 300 mm high, Ø 20 mm) enable the reproducible determination of the liquid level within the framework of pharmacopoeial test procedures.
Suitable for applications in quality control and laboratory analysis.
